3rd Global Gathering of CFAN Has Ended with a Promise

From April 21-25, 35 folks from all part of the world met in Austria for the 3rd Global Gathering of the Change Facilitation Associates Network. While we still have to process the wealth of video, slide, audio and photo material, here is a first report:

We started on Day 1 to reconnect. Participants came from: Finland, Norway, Lebanon, Israel, Germany, Philippines, Romania, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Czech and Slovak Republics, Albania, Canada, UK. Using dialogue techniques, we explored the questions that would help us to digg deeper into our tasks and to recognize our joint emerging future. In the evening of Monday, Prof. Susanne Weber talked about Dynamics in Regional Networks. Read more...

We are the Interactive Organization

The Open Space worked beautifully, and it produced results on different levels. On a meta level, it showed us that we are able to self organize and that we can trust the passion and the responsibility of our members. This is a turning point in the history of our network (Change Facilitation Associates Network). More...

Kicking Off In Style!

Hello everyone, Rik and Vicki here reporting from this mornings activities of the global gathering.
Mohammad and Holger - the "dynamic duo" started the meeting and set the mood with positive energy.
Many participants were already "warmed-up" from Christina's wonderful heart meditation and QiGong session earlier this morning.

After recapping on the activities of CFAN from the last twelve months, the room was "transformed" into a CFAN World Cafe.
The focus question discussed was "How can we optimise the way we meet over the next few days from exploration to co-creation?"
Some key insights included: reflection time, crystalising connections, strong roots, making action from common ideas and many more which are currently sharpening the program over the next few days.
It was great to see the power of the World Cafe methodology in action as many common themes eventuated crystalising future direction.

Lunch was well earned and enjoyed.....stay tuned for more later!

CFAN: The Global Gathering Has Started!

Today, on April 4, 40 folks from all over the world gathered in the romantic castle of Mojmirovce, Slovakia to redefine how we can cooperate to explore, create and celebrate change. The meeting has the motto: "From Exploring to Co-Creating". Already, the Change Facilitation Associates Network (CFAN), which was created in 2005, has more than 35 corporate and individual members from all parts of the world.

The map shows the places from where people travelled to Mojmirovce (red pins) and the other CFAN members who couldn't make it to the Global Gathering. You might check the agenda of the meeting. We will be reporting life...

Today we started in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. After a good Slovak lunch we went to see the historical old city, a gem stone of European Baroque architecture.

In the evening, we transferred to the venue of our Gathering, and we are just about to commence our meeting with an informal gathering around cocktails. Check in regularly.
