Tagging, Folksonomy, Collective Knowledge

I am in the steep part of my learning curve. About 3 months ago, I actually did not know what tagging means, until Peggy Holman told me about the tag for the Nexus for Change conference. About two months ago, I started tagging using del.icio.us. If you look at my (small) personal tag list, you will learn more about me, for example that I love oysters and search for a good place for oysters in San Francisco (found one, the Bacar). Or you will see that I was looking for hotels in the different parts of the world to which I travelled recently. You will also notice that I am currently immensly interested in all Web 2.0 phenomena. But I still did not understand what tagging actually means. More...
