  1. Why would you stroll around for ages in an imaginary world just to ask someone a question? Does the visual excitement actually make up for the time spent moving your avatar around?

    I'd rather shoot out an email, instant message or posting - or (totally retro, I know) give someone a phone call - and be done with it in an instant ... .
