
Swarm Intelligence has always been a topic that fascinated me a lot, since I read Kevin Kelly's book
Out of Control. Research on swarm intelligence is an important part of complexity science, and has some interesting consequences for general systems behaviour. What triggers birds to fly or fish to swim in a certain formation? There are only rules two that govern animals’ behaviour in that respect:
1. Stay close to your neighbour
