After Sri Lanka - Thoughts about the Front Lines of this World
I finally returned from my 2 1/2 weeks trip to Sri Lanka, where I had a project management workshop and subsequently looked at two projects that support the reconstruction and rehabilitation of this war-torn country by establishing physical and social infrastructure.
I did not write about what is going on in this country during the time of my visit for obvious political reasons. And I don't want to go into detail of the war that is going on in this country, every day. Some call it war against terror, some call it freedom fight; one side is accusing the other to recruit large amount of children soldiers, the other is talking about atrocities carried against villages - it is the same story like in a couple of other places in the world.
